StartUp Error Messages
"Invalid System
Disk. Replace the disk and then press any key."
Most likely, you've tried to start your computer with a disk in the
floppy drive that doesn't contain any operating system files. Usually,
all you have to do is remove the disk and press the spacebar.
"Keyboard Error"
I know, it's pretty self-explanatory. If your keyboard isn't plugged
in, you'll get a keyboard error at startup. You might also have touched
a key during startup, or perhaps there's a book or something pressing
on the keyboard. However, if its recurring, you may want to check for
sticking or broken keys, or get a new keyboard.
"Warning: Windows
has detected a registry/configuration error.Choose Safe mode to start
Windows with a minimal set of drivers."
Your computer's Registry files may be missing or corrupted. You can
enter Safe Mode and have a look around, but more than likely, you need
to restore the Registry files from your backups. You have backups, right?

restoring your Registry.
"One or more of
your disk drives may have developed bad sectors. Press any key to run
ScanDisk with surface analysis on these drives."
If your hard drive is developing bad sectors, or has an error of some
sort at startup, you may see this message. But, more than likely, its
due to the fact that you shut your computer down without closing out
of Windows properly. Allow ScanDisk to go through its paces and Windows
will probably load properly afterwards. Always remember to close out
of programs and shut down Windows properly before turning off your computer.
